Meet Our Staff

Amelia has been with EyeCare Associates since 2012 starting in our optical boutique. She made the move to the insurance department in 2013 and became our office manager in 2018. You may see her around the office working in different departments. Amelia has a daughter and a son. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, crafting and reading.

Teresa will be taking care of filing your insurance for you after your visit with the doctors. If we have current insurance information prior to your appointment, she will work to determine the expected out of pocket amount for your visit.

Outside of work, Teresa keeps plenty busy working on her bucket list. She enjoys creating works of art, her favorite medium being watercolor. She also enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and kayaking. She and her husband have hiked to the top of several 14ers in Colorado, biked scenic trails on three continents and find time to lake or ocean kayak on most trips. After exploring and photographing many areas above water, she and her husband learned to scuba dive so lately most of their vacation time has been centered around diving and underwater photography. In her downtime, she also enjoys spending time with her granddaughter born in February of 2018.

If you have any questions regarding contact lenses, give Tammy a call. She can help answer any questions and assist you with what is new in contact lenses. Tammy has been in the optical field since 2009. She is also a mother of four wonderful children.

Julie has been a part of the EyeCare Associates family since 2016, after several years in the customer service industry. She has three adult children and five grandkids. Julie loves to walk her dog, Molly, especially in the cold winter weather! She loves macramé, likes to read and does yoga. Growing up in a military family, Julie has been in the Salina area for over 35 years making this her home. Julie and her husband, Steve, enjoy cruising around town in their Corvette. 

Kanesha is a Salina native, born and raised! Go Mustangs! She has been with EyeCare Associates since 2022, after previously being in the hotel business for the past 20 years. Mother of three - two young adults and one in junior high, she is big in supporting sports and keeping kids active. Kanesha enjoys football, basketball, and track and field. Her big smile brightens and warms the office and she also loves to cook, often bringing and sharing her good eats with the office. She can make a mean set of hot honey wings!

Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm one of the newer members of EyeCare Associates. I am married with one son, Tucker, who is currently studying business at Angelina College in Lufkin, TX. I am also blessed with three step-children and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy cooking and hanging out with my family and friends. I truly feel lucky for being asked to join the EyeCare family because that is exactly what we are...FAMILY! 

Michelle has been a cherished member of the EyeCare Associates family since 2016. A Salina native, she spent over 23 years working in the dental field before joining EyeCare Associates. Michelle is the proud mother of Ryan and Carly, and she delights in her role as a grandmother to two adorable girls, Kashlei and Brylee, through her daughter-in-law, Kat. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading and attending various sporting events, including football, basketball, soccer, and dirt track racing. Some of her favorite vacations involve traveling with her kids and granddaughters to places like Oklahoma, Texas, South Dakota, and Colorado.

Vicki originally hails from Sedalia, MO, but moved to Kansas at the age of 14. Having lived in Kansas for over 40 years, she considers it her home. Vicki is the proud mother of two: her daughter Katie, who works as an ER nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, and her son Reid, who manages the jungle exhibit at Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. Reid's wife, Kymee, is a Behavioral and Enrichment Specialist at the Humane Society in Omaha. Vicki herself has spent 34 years in the healthcare field, joining the EyeCare family in 2020 after her tenure at Comcare Ohio.

I was first introduced to the EyeCare world in 2015 working as an optician. I absolutely loved fitting patients in glasses for all their needs. I did that for seven years and have since switched roles within the office, now working as an optometric technician. I love learning about the medical side of the office - it is like beginning another part of my EyeCare journey. I am an active dance mom for my wonderful daughter, Brooklyn. I also enjoy spending time outdoors camping with my significant other, Russ. Outside of work, my passions include crocheting and playing on a pool league.

Melanie has worked at EyeCare Associates since 2018. Melanie is a Salina native born and raised. She has been in retail and worked in the medical field at SRHC and ComCare prior to joining EyeCare. Melanie has an adult son, Chase, daughter-in-law, Kalina, and a grandson named Hunter. Melanie also enjoys spending time with her little family. She also enjoys crafts, reading, and football. GO CHIEFS!!! 

Hi, my name is Anistyn! Optical has always been an interest of mine and as an aspiring optometrist, EyeCare Associates is the perfect place to get a jumpstart on my ophthalmic experience. My experience at EyeCare Associates started over the summer of 2023 when I worked full time in the optical boutique and has transitioned into a part time position during the school year. Outside of school I enjoy dancing with the Tamara Howe School of Dance and Ballet Salina. I plan to continue working at EyeCare Associates until I graduate high school. After high school I plan to attend college followed by optometry school. 

I started at EyeCare Associates the summer of 2023. My EyeCare experience began at the front reception desk and quickly shifted to the optical boutique. The transition from retail manager of 15 years to an optical stylist has been a game changer for me as I enjoy getting to know every patient I work with. I'm an avid music lover but classic rock and 80's rock are my favorite genres with Pink Floyd, the Eagles, Boston, Motley Crue, and Aerosmith being some of my favorite bands. I have three children and beautiful granddaughter I have had the privilege of raising since 2014. She is definitely my mini-me!

Hey, I'm Grace! My EyeCare journey started in March of 2023. My experience and passion which began as styling people in dresses and tuxedos has shifted to glasses and eyewear! Not only do I enjoy styling patients in glasses, but also getting to know our patients on a personal level! Outside of EyeCare, I dedicate my time practicing my social media marketing skills and at the gym to improve my physical health and strength. My experience at EyeCare has 'opened my eyes' to the world of optical and I look forward to what the rest of this journey has in store!
